Artisan handmade jewelry

Gold vermeil earrings flickering like little bursts of light.

The Flicker Studs are inspired by little rays of light. The elegant, asymmetrical design is handmade using the ancient method of wax carving. These small gold stud earrings are crafted in gold vermeil, offering the luxurious gold look without the solid gold price. Perfect for adding a cool and unique accent to any outfit.

These earrings are also available in solid gold & sterling silver

DETAILS:

  • Each stud is approx. 6 x 6.5mm
  • 14K yellow gold vermeil
  • Gold-filled friction earring backs
  • Handmade in Colorado
  • Allow 3-7 days for production. May take up to 3 weeks to restock if supplies sell out.

WHAT IS VERMEIL? Gold vermeil is a thick layer of gold over solid sterling silver—not to be confused with gold plating which is a much thinner layer of gold. It's a fantastic way to get the gold look without the higher price tag. Gold vermeil can look fantastic for years with proper care. Learn more about vermeil and how to care for it.

Return Policy

Orders under $1500 can be exchanged or returned for a refund within 14 days of the ship date. I do require a 3% restocking fee that will be withheld from the refund to help cover Shopify fees that I am not refunded. Shipping charges cannot be refunded and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and safe packaging of the piece being returned. Items damaged or lost during return transit cannot be refunded.

I do not accept returns for items over $1500 due to the made-to-order nature of my business. I aim to create beautiful, quality pieces that I hope you love. However, in the event you are not satisfied, contact me and I will do everything in my power to make sure you’re happy with your purchase.

I can only accept order cancellations within 24 hours of placing the order. Beyond that time frame, supplies have already been ordered to create your piece.

Custom jewelry orders are final and cannot be returned.

Ethics & Sustainability

DIAMONDS:

I source conflict-free, ethically responsible diamonds that all comply with the Kimberly Process -- a process which is committed to removing conflict diamonds from the supply chain. This process ensures that rough diamonds are exported and imported with a government certificate stating diamonds are conflict-free and transported between countries in a sealed and tamper-proof container.

By request, I can source CanadaMark™ diamonds that are mined in Canada and are 100% traceable to the mine of origin.

GEMSTONES:

I work with companies that provide only ethically sourced and fair trade gemstones & pearls.

METALS:

My suppliers are committed to ethical sourcing of metals. They adhere to the RJC Chain of Custody Standard of Gold (CoC) as well as the Conflict Free Minerals Policy Platinum & Palladium.
